Last Sunday, I had the great fortune of having brunch with a group of bloggers here in Philly at the Omni Hotel. The brunch, organized and hosted by Joey Fortman from Real Mom Media, was fantastic! It’s funny, because whenever I go away, I always look up great places to eat brunch, but I never even thought about going downtown in my own city for a special Sunday morning out.
And, the Sunday Brunch at Azalea Restaurant in the Omni Hotel is really, really special! They have everything from a carving station with roasted filet mignon to salads, seafood, cheese, fruit, and made to order omelets and waffles. My favorite part of brunch, by far, though, was the crepe station! Oh my goodness, y’all…the bananas foster crepe with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce was heavenly! Oh, and mimosas, of course. Can’t forget the mimosas!

The best part of the brunch, though, had to be the opportunity to spend time with some blogger girlfriends who I don’t often get to see in person. The ambience of the Azalea Restaurant, and the location right in Old City, makes it a lovely spot to hang out and catch up with the girls. Brunch at the Azalea Restaurant at the Omni Hotel is served every Sunday from 10 AM – 2 PM. They recommend calling for reservations, and I can assure you, it’s completely worth it!

Okay, so now that I’ve had brunch at the Omni Hotel and had a chance to take a tour, I can see why so many couples have chosen to get married there! It’s gorgeous and chic and urban and classy…everything a city bride would want. Guess what? The Omni Hotel is auctioning off a complete wedding package to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand!
